Recycled hotels and feeding stations for stray cats. This is the project of Llobregats, a non-profit organization whose objective is to "help improve the lives of city felines through the TNR (trap, neuter, return) method." A project that seeks to improve the lives of the ARISTOCATS living on the streets and, at the same time, create urban art through recycling.
José Luis Rodríguez and Josefa Rodríguez, both working at a recycling center, began to reuse discarded materials in the municipality. This couple has been caring for the cat colonies in their neighborhood for over a decade. Faced with the inability to help them on cold and rainy days, they came up with this wonderful and inspiring idea. They reused containers that the municipal company no longer used. This is how they created CatDonalds and CatHotels, shelters and feeding stations for street cats.
CatDonalds are feeders and waterers, with a hole on each side. Inside these containers are jugs that hold food and water. CatHotels are shelters created in larger containers. Inside, they have boxes where cats can take shelter from changes in weather. They also have reused LED lights and small holes to let water out when it rains so the container doesn't flood.

Some of these containers are voluntarily decorated by graffiti artists like Tutti. This is a way to dignify this project and, at the same time, promote the work of these artists.
This association from Sant Boi de Llobregat is an international benchmark in the management of feline colonies, sustainability, and recycling. This initiative prevents neighbors from leaving food waste for the cats. The residents of the area view this initiative favorably, and the ARISTOCATS have a shelter and daily access to food and water.
