Currita & Paloma

This is the story of Currita & Paloma, the owners of Huerto de Lucas, an organic market that we love, with carefully selected products. 100% organic food of the highest quality. Beneficial for health and for the conservation of the environment.

Currita came into Paloma's life because her father gave her to her when she was only 2 months old; she was the daughter of a friend's dog.

Currita quickly became unique and wonderful, the best thing in the world for Paloma:
– "It makes me very happy to share everything with her; she is a very intelligent dog and adapts to any place I go with her. She is well-behaved and calm when she needs to be (when in public :)), and transforms when she is off-leash in the countryside with her terrier instinct.

Paloma is an equine veterinarian, and Currita got used to accompanying Paloma to her work in the countryside. So when Paloma opened Huerto de Lucas, Currita went from spending all day in the countryside to being in the city. It wasn't easy, but since she is a very smart dog, she has adapted perfectly. She has earned everyone's greetings and affection because of how loving, funny, and good she is.

She has won over many customers with her famous "Curra Show" (she jumps through the hoop, plays dead when you "shoot" her, sits like a little person, rolls over, jumps on command, etc...)

We asked Paloma if Currita is the reason why El Huerto is dog-friendly, and this is what she told us: El Huerto is a unique project in Spain where we care for health through food, 100% organic, in a chemical-free space. But not only our health, but also that of our best friends, so of course, good dogs are welcome, and all thanks to Currita! I believe that animals should be respected, and as long as they behave well, they should be allowed into all places in Spain. Many countries already apply this respect for animals. Our customers can come to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, or do their shopping with their dogs.
