In addition to being a fashion icon, Valentino Garavani has been a well-known ARISTOPETER. Designing since the 1950s and having dressed Audrey Hepburn, Princess Margaret, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jacqueline Kennedy, the famous Italian designer retired in 2008. Since then, he has been seen traveling the world and on various properties surrounded by his five pugs. This breed has always been his favorite, and he even named one of his clothing lines—Oliver—after one of his dogs.

Quoting Garavani in his documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor: “I don’t care about the collection, my dogs are more important.”
