Logically, the museum also provides a historical perspective of dogs and their origins, and from an aesthetic point of view, it is a pleasure to visit as it contains one of the best collections of art in the world dedicated to dogs. The museum displays over 700 original paintings, drawings, watercolors, prints, sculptures, and porcelain figures, as well as numerous objects representing man's best friend throughout the centuries.
Those who wish can spend hours among the thousands of books and publications related to dogs available in the museum's library. However, an appointment is required. And, as if that weren't enough, the museum provides visitors with a registry of over 250 artists who create portraits and all kinds of commissioned works related to dogs. Also, from March to October, sessions are held to showcase the peculiarities of each dog. Every week, an owner and their dog visit the museum, allowing visitors to learn more about each breed (temperament, diet, adoption programs, etc.).
