Rubio, a stray dog from Buenos Aires, met Olivia Sievers, a German flight attendant, while she was staying for work at the Hilton Hotel in Puerto Madero, in the same city.
One day she gave him food, played with him, and a bond began that had a very happy and unexpected ending.

The dog decided to stay outside the hotel that night they met and all the following nights. Taking pity on him, Olivia gave him a plane blanket to keep him warm at night and named him “Rubio”.
Olivia had to continue her work as a flight attendant and returned to Germany, thinking she would never see her furry friend again. However, some time later, her job brought her back to Buenos Aires.
Upon arriving at the hotel door, Rubio greeted her. Their connection was so strong that days passed and Rubio kept waiting for her. Every time she returned to Argentina, the same thing happened.
Olivia made arrangements with an animal welfare association to find him a loving family. However, he escaped from the family's home. Rubio had decided that the flight attendant, and no one else, was his owner. She gladly gave in and decided to take him home with her.

Six months after their first meeting, Rubio traveled to Germany to live with her. This loving dog is now enjoying the German summer with his new owner, and judging by their Facebook posts, both are very happy with their new life together.
We love stories with happy endings, especially about ARISTOPET HEROES, in this case Olivia, a hero who rescued Rubio from the street.
