The moment we've all been waiting for to enjoy a vacation on the coast. Like every year, those of us with pets always feel a bit limited when choosing where to go: every ARISTOPETER enjoys vacations with their faithful companion(s), and this is only possible on certain beaches.
This year, dog-friendly destinations have been authorized in every region of Spain. At ARISTOPET, we present a list of beaches where your dog can enjoy the sea and sand without any problems.
Tips for going to the beach with your dog:
· Bring fresh water with you. If possible, have a cooler with ice to prevent the water from getting hot in the sun.
· Always bring an umbrella, tent, or look for a place with shade.
· Have a portable water and food bowl: Your dog should always have access to water. You can see options for water and food bowls HERE.
· If possible, avoid the hottest hours of the day.
· Consider applying pet sunscreen, especially to sensitive areas like the belly, armpits, and ears.
· Place a mat or cooling pad so your dog can rest without direct contact with the hot sand or ground. At ARISTOPET, you can find mat options HERE.
· Give your dog a fresh water bath during and at the end of the day. They will thank you for cooling them down.
· Check and clean their ears to remove sand.
AN ARISTOPETER IS ALWAYS AWARE OF THEIR PET AND THE SUN. HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE HEATSTROKE IF NOT CARED FOR PROPERLY. ALWAYS STAY VIGILANT ABOUT THEIR CARE.
