Do you know what kind of owner you are with your dog? Each of you ARISTOPETERS are different, but it's true that you may have similar qualities and behaviors with your ARISTODOGS.
The overprotective owner
You are an overprotective owner if you're one of those who doesn't let your dog off-leash in the park with other dogs for fear that something might happen to them... Dogs need to interact with other ARISTODOGS.
It's not advisable to pick up your dog when a large dog approaches; they need to learn to defend themselves. If you are very protective of your dog, they will also sense fear, and that makes them growl or react differently.
It is advisable to let your dogs interact with all kinds of dogs and people from a young age. They cannot live isolated in a bubble.
The permissive owner
You are a permissive owner if you're one of those who gives your dog every whim. If they don't like something, you change it for something better... If you let them on the sofa, even for a short while...
It is advisable not to be too permissive with pets. The same thing happens with children; if you don't set rules for them, they get used to it and eventually do whatever they want. Dogs are creatures of habit, so it's better to establish some rules, but that doesn't mean being a drill sergeant.
The trainer owner
You are a trainer owner if you are one of those who cares about your dog's education. You've always liked your dog to know certain rules, such as sitting when they are about to be given something, or sitting when reaching a crosswalk, not pulling on the street, bringing you the ball... Certain rules and indications that help you live together better.
If you are this type of owner and you like it, it is advisable not to be a drill sergeant either, and above all, to receive the necessary guidance and information from trainers and specialists.
