If you don't have plans for these holidays yet, we have a suggestion for you and your pet that you'll love. Visit Spain's first water park for dogs!
Our country's first water park for dogs is about thirty minutes from Barcelona, specifically at the Can Janè dog resort, a true paradise for dogs that recently expanded its offerings (which began as a dog boarding facility) to include the water park for dogs, putting it in the spotlight for all pet lovers and those who enjoy shared activities.
So if you're looking for a great plan to enjoy with your dog, Can Janè water park is a perfect option. It has a large lake and a small lake so that all dogs can enjoy the water and have fun, regardless of their size. So from a greyhound to a Maltese bichon, a German shepherd, or a French bulldog, they can splash, swim, play, and run freely in the water park.
Getting to the park by car is very easy, as it is located on Ctra. Valldeoriolf, at kilometer 2.5, in the municipality of La Roca del Valles. So a good weekend getaway could consist of traveling to Barcelona and staying overnight there, and the next day enjoying a day of water fun at this wonderful and original water park. To top off the day, you can then go to dinner at one of the many excellent "pet-friendly" restaurants in the city. What do you think?

While you're thinking about it, let us tell you a few things about the water park for dogs.
1. As the pools are specifically for dogs, swimming is prohibited. This means you can accompany your dog around the pool, but you cannot take a dip yourself because the maximum depth of the pool is seventy centimeters.
2. Eating, drinking, or smoking is not allowed inside the enclosure.
3. Reactive dogs must always be controlled with their leash. Each owner is responsible for their dog, especially in the case of PPP (potentially dangerous dogs), who may enter the park without a muzzle, under the responsibility of their owner.
4. Female dogs in heat will not be allowed access to the enclosure.
5. Each aristoparent must pick up their dog's waste.
6. Non-slip footwear is recommended.
7. Because dogs run in and out of the pool, the adjacent area can be a bit dangerous if someone decides to lie down, so it is recommended to sit on the outer perimeter surrounding the pool, which is prepared for this use.
