We've discovered this new doggy daycare in Madrid that we love and wanted to share it with all of you.
We all feel the guilt of leaving our beloved ARISTOPET alone at home due to daily responsibilities, and it gets harder and harder. Initiatives like this help us balance living with our furry friends and our work lives.
No pet should spend the day alone, and often being home with nothing to do leads to numerous behavioral problems. But, until recently, this was a concern without a solution.
But with WAG WAG, we have a good alternative for your pet to satisfy their needs for attention, activity, and exercise, and for all dogs to have a great day while their ARISTOPARENT is away from home.
Rates are around €290/month, and they are open from 8 AM to 8 PM.
You can also book half-day, full-day, or hourly options.

How was the idea born?
Laura Ricobaldi and Paula López de María are veterinarians who graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid with extensive experience in the field. On a trip to New York, they discovered this business model. New Yorkers are famous for being very busy every day, which is why numerous doggy daycares can be found throughout the city. Laura and Paula thought that in our country, a large part of the population works many hours a day and is unfortunately forced to leave their furry friends alone at home. This is where the idea to found WagWag came from.
In Madrid, there is 1 dog for every 10 inhabitants, and a large percentage of them spend the day alone. WagWag is the ideal solution: ARISTOPETS spend all day playing, socializing with other dogs, walking in the park, napping, and releasing all the energy they accumulate. It works like any children's daycare: the ARISTOPARENT drops off their pet in the morning and picks them up in the afternoon, finding a relaxed and calm animal.
The Facilities
The space has two floors and features a reception, shop, playrooms, grooming salon, and behavior consultation room. The playrooms are divided into one for large dogs and another for medium and small dogs. They are very spacious with large windows facing the street, so people can see the wonderful treatment the dogs receive.
It also has a grooming salon and a consultation room where ethology and dog training consultations are carried out.
Transport
Another point we find very useful is transportation. WagWag has a van adapted for dog transport. It is safe and comfortable, with air conditioning and heating so your pet has a calm and happy journey. If you can't drop them off at daycare, they will pick up your pet or drop them off at home in the afternoon.
