Sophie Gamand
Sophie Gamand is a French photographer who specializes in ARISTOPETS. "I photograph dogs to understand humans," says the artist, whose goal is to explore the complex dynamics in the relationships between humans and their pets. Her best-known series are 'Wet Dog' and 'Flower Power, Pitbulls of the Revolution', works that brought her worldwide recognition.
Elliot Erwitt
Another American Street Photographer, a classic in photography, was a great lover of taking portraits of ARISTOPETS. His pieces covered everything from the most glamorous to the most mundane, always dignifying the ARISTOPETS without resorting to typical personification. Seth Casteel
We transport ourselves to the modern era, to 2012, when the famous book 'Underwater Dogs' was published. The pages of this work are full of colorful photographs of ARISTOPETS swimming underwater. The American author became instantly well-known, and his portraits have been among the most shared on social media in recent years. His passion has always been pets, and one day he saw a lively Cavalier King Charles Spaniel repeatedly jumping into the water, which gave him the idea for the photographs.
Amanda Jones
Her ARISTOPET Lilly motivated her to create a long-term photographic project called 'Dog Years'. The photographer took a picture of her pet when it was 8 months old and then again at 15 years old. Jones gathers 30 furry friends in her work, all photographed with the same light, same pose, and same background. The emotional gaze of each subject does not seem to change over the years, making her project one of the most beautiful in the industry.
Daniel Naudé
The South African Daniel Naudé is an artist who portrayed 50 animals over 5 years in his native country. in 2012, he published his book 'Animal Farm', which compiled all these images. The vast majority of the ARISTOPETS are of the Africanis breed, one of the few wild species that still live today. The project began with a peculiar encounter he had with a furry friend on the road to the Karoo plateau. In his portraits, some of the protagonists have a fearful gaze, others curious, and some indifferent.
