Last weekend, and for the third consecutive year, the Doganzo Association and the Daganzo Town Council organized "AL AGUA PATAS" (Paws in the Water), an event where all ARISTOPERROS (Aristopets) could enjoy a day of swimming, games, activities, and more, alongside their human families, demonstrating that coexistence between people and pets is possible.
This canine aquatic party follows the example of the United States and Canada, where it is common to open pools to pets on the last day of the season, and in Madrid, it is celebrated at the facilities of the Daganzo Municipal Pool. With a maximum capacity of 750 people, tickets sold out days before the event, guaranteeing total success.
Upon arrival, visitors received a TRIXIE welcome kit for their furry friends, and veterinarians present confirmed that the dogs had their microchips and vaccinations up to date. Throughout the day, there were two 25x12 meter pools, an introductory children's pool, green areas, trees, picnic areas, changing rooms, a first-aid station, a cafeteria/restaurant, additional veterinarians, information booths, play areas, entertainment activities, contests, and the collaboration of volunteers.
Al Agua Patas was a very special day full of happy ARISTOPERROS of all breeds and mixes, large and small, young and old, all enjoying an unforgettable day with their families. A great opportunity for ARISTOPARENTS who often find spaces to enjoy with their best friends very limited.
The proceeds are allocated to animal protection work already carried out in the municipality. The pools, as every year, will be emptied and disinfected to be ready for use next year.

ARISTOPET was there, and we can tell you firsthand that it was a spectacular and very well-organized event. It is very difficult to manage more than 700 people and more than 400 dogs, and the people of Doganzo had everything planned.
