¡AL AGUA PATAS! is held on the last day of the swimming pool season at the municipal pool of Daganzo. This edition took place on Sunday, September 17. It's a unique day because families can bring their ARISTODOGS. It is organized by the DOGANZO folks, whom we particularly like for the excellent work they do in animal protection. This is the 4th year they've celebrated it!
It is jointly organized by the Daganzo Town Council and the Doganzo Association, and the profits generated are used for animal protection efforts within the municipality. The Daganzo Town Council has demonstrated its commitment to the animal world by supporting the association from the beginning in all its activities and by building the first dog park in the region, 3,000 square meters in size, inaugurated in April 2014. The Daganzo municipal swimming pool allows for a capacity of 750 people plus their dogs on this day. Furthermore, this event is important to demonstrate that coexistence between people and pets is possible. This activity has many precedents in the United States and Canada, where it is common to open pools to pets on the last day of the season.
ARISTOPET participated in this solidarity gathering, giving away welcome packs to the first 100 attendees, with Lily's Kitchen nutritional products available at aristopet.com and very appealing personalized ARISTOPET feeders.
And bringing ARISTODOGS from the Scooby shelter with the aim of them having a great day and maximizing their chances of finding a home. Subaru Spain, a pet-loving company, provided us with suitable vehicles so that these dogs could attend the event and find that much-desired home.
There were contests, raffles, where ARISTOPET also gave out prizes! ... There were also informative stands from animal shelters, a dog restaurant, a charity market, more dogs for adoption from other shelters, and an exhibition by the Spanish Water Dog Association.
The volunteers from the Doganzo association were present at all times, with those smiles and good vibes that characterize them every year, and of course, the director and the head of the event, Brilli! Nursing services, lifeguards, and veterinarians were available throughout the event.
