But beware: just because they have fur doesn't necessarily mean that our ARISTOPETS don't get cold. That's why today we're going to review the tricks we can use to protect our ARISTOPETS from winter.
1. Consider the breed
It may seem obvious (perhaps to many it is), but a seventy-kilo Saint Bernard (who is also originally from the Swiss Alps) does not have the same warmth needs as a Greyhound or a Pug. The same goes for ARISTOCATS: a Sphynx cat will most likely not need as much warmth as a Scottish Fold or a Norwegian Forest Cat. While there are always exceptions, knowing the specific characteristics of your ARISTOPET's breed can greatly help you understand their needs.
2. Discover fall/winter fashion
Although we are not in favor of dressing our pets just for the sake of it – costumes are fun for us but not for them – it is true that in the cold, many ARISTOPETS need to dress warmly to avoid getting sick, and clothing is becoming increasingly beautiful, high-quality, and functional for every type of pet. Dressing them or not is, in most cases, an act of responsibility and affection towards your pet. If you don't like being cold, neither does your pet. 4. Check the weather forecast

5. ARISTOPETS with special needs
With the cold, joint problems become more evident in the case of senior pets. This can affect their mobility and quality of life. Therefore, if you detect any anomaly in their movements or attitude, be sure to consult your veterinarian.
Sick ARISTOPETS and puppies are also particularly vulnerable during this time. A cold or flu poses a greater risk for them than for a healthy adult pet. So, take extra precautions.
