The next factor you should consider is age. Adult dogs, in general, rest an average of 13 hours a day throughout the day, sleeping most at night. On the other hand, both older canines and puppies spend practically all day lying down, sleeping or resting.
Size and breed also influence sleep hours. Some adult dogs can sleep between 15 and 16 hours a day. Giant breed dogs, for example, can even sleep 18, as their energy expenditure is higher than that of other smaller breeds.
Of course, every dog is unique and has its own peculiarities. However, what is certain is that to help them rest, you must take care of both their diet and their routines. It is also very important that your ARISTODOG has its own comfortable and warm place to rest properly.
