Winter plans to enjoy with your pet

Planes de invierno para disfrutar de tu mascota

Winter is just around the corner (although in many places it has already arrived in full force) and it seems that with the cold our activity decreases. We become more home-bound. We don't hibernate, but almost. And that also, undoubtedly, affects our pets (so much so that here we have a series of winter survival tips, because many pets have a hard time during this season).

But, as always, at ARISTOPET we want to encourage you to make the most of winter and continue sharing moments with your pet. That's why we're sharing with you plans to enjoy your best friend during the coldest season of the year. As you'll see, most plans are indoors, but there are also some outdoor ones... for the bravest.

1. Go out for breakfast with your dog
In most cities, there's already a considerable offer of pet-friendly establishments. So, no excuses. Take advantage of the weekend to do something you can't normally do: have breakfast together, calmly, knowing you have the whole day ahead of you. What a pleasure!

2. Get a head start on Christmas shopping
It seems like an eternity until the Three Wise Men (or Santa Claus) arrive. But experience shows that, in reality, it's not that long. Before we know it, the date arrives, and we have everything to buy. And so much expense all at once... it's not good. That's why a good winter plan is to go shopping with your pet. At this link, you'll find a list of stores that allow pets. So bundle up and take advantage of a walk.

If you don't like crowds and prefer to stay home, you can also do your Christmas shopping online. At ARISTOSHOP, we have everything an ARISTOPETER could wish for. Don't miss this post and discover the best Christmas gifts for pet lovers.

3. A stroll through Madrid's art galleries
For art-loving ARISTOPETERS, a good option is to take a stroll through the city's dog-friendly galleries. This is an ideal plan to enrich yourself culturally, but also for your dog to socialize with other visiting dogs. At the Fresh Gallery, led by our friend Topacio Fresh, you'll be warmly welcomed.

4. In search of the cold
For those who are not afraid of the cold, a great plan is to enjoy the outdoors. Whether in the mountains or somewhere a bit remote, a frozen and deserted landscape is always appealing. And even more so when your dog can feel completely free. So if you have the opportunity, escape the city and take a break.

But remember that for the colder months, your dog also needs to bundle up. No matter how furry our best friends are, they get cold, just like us. So if you're going "outside," make sure they have their warm clothing.

5. Chilling at home
Sometimes that's what you want. And even more so with this weather. So it's not bad at all to simply take advantage of being together and enjoying each other's company. If you have to work, study, or do anything else at home, just keep your dog close and show him that, no matter what you do, the most important thing is being with him.
