El Gachero dog beach is located between Rihuete beach and Alamillo beach. It is an urban and stony beach that combines hard sand with pebbles. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and occupancy is usually very low as it is not very popular with bathers, but thanks to its moderate waves and crystal-clear waters, it is pleasant to visit with your ARISTODOG.
Playa de Cobaticas
Playa de Cobaticas is a natural beach between Bolnuevo and Percheles. While difficult to access, it possesses extraordinary beauty. The beach is 1000 meters long and 30 meters wide, and its ground consists of sand mixed with pebbles and gravel.
Playa de la Cañada del Negro

Playa de la Cañada del Negro is the first dog beach in Águilas and the fourth in the province of Murcia (Mazarrón already has 3 dog beaches). It is a semi-urban beach 150 meters long and 19 meters wide on average, composed of boulders, gravel, and sand, with moderate waves. It is a beach without services and with low bather traffic, making it the ideal option to turn it into a dog beach. The beach is now open for all who wish to visit with their pets. It has parking for 50-100 cars in the area adjacent to the beach at a higher level and has easy access on foot or by car. The beach is accessed via an unpaved road coinciding with the GR-92 and GR-253.
The rules for enjoying this beach are the same as for other beaches and coves in the country, but in case you have any doubts, we list them below (these rules also apply to the rest of Murcia's beaches):
– Keep your pet under control at all times
– Spike or prong collars are not allowed.
– Pick up their droppings
– Try not to disturb other users
– Carry your pet's vaccination card with all vaccinations up to date
– If the dog is included in the list of potentially dangerous dog breeds, it must be leashed and muzzled.
La Calera dog beach
This is Cartagena's new dog beach, spanning 1100 meters in length. It consists of rock, gravel, and coarse sand.
It is located away from the city center and close to the dog beaches of Mazarrón, so you can go to either one.
