Playa de la Rana

The City Council of Adra took the lead and in 2016 enabled Almería's first official dog beach, Playa de la Rana. La Rana dog beach is 350 meters long, delimited by a fence, and properly signposted. It is not an urban beach, meaning it is not classified as suitable for swimming.
This section is located 450 meters from the nearest beach classified as suitable for swimming, La Caracola Beach.
This dog beach has the necessary facilities for proper use, such as waste bins and informative signs for correct civic behavior.
Below are several hotel and apartment options so you can complete this wonderful experience in Almería with your ARISTOPET:
– Bungalow Camping Trevelez
– Hostal Carlos III
The rules for enjoying this beach are the same as for other Beaches and Coves in the country, but in case you have any doubts, we list them below:
– Keep your pet under control at all times
– Pick up their droppings
– Try not to disturb other users
– Carry your pet's health card and ensure all vaccinations are up to date
– If the dog is included in the list of potentially dangerous dog breeds, it must be leashed and muzzled.
