Gran Canaria

Playa de los Tres Peos

A small and generally very calm beach, with strong waves and currents. It is recommended to take precautions when swimming. ARISTODOGS are allowed on this beach all year round.

This is a new area that the Gran Canaria City Council has enabled for us to enjoy this beach with our ARISTODOGS.
It is located in Valle de Jinámar, next to the municipality of Telde, south of the city of Gran Canaria. It is a beach that occupies 6,000 square meters and is not very busy due to its frequent waves.
Many hotels in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have joined the pet-friendly trend and allow dogs and cats in their accommodations.

Tenerife
Tenerife is an island in the Atlantic Ocean belonging to the Canary Islands. Together with La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro, it forms the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Playa el Callao
A very extensive beach in the coastal area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This semi-urban beach is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and uncrowded beach.
Playa del Puertito

It is located very close to the center of Güimar's Puertito. It has very calm waves, which makes it an ideal beach to enjoy with your ARISTODOG.
In addition, it also has adapted access for people with reduced mobility.
Playa del Confital
If you have a pet, you're in luck, because at El Confital beach you can enjoy a fantastic swim with them. With gray sand, this beach, located next to the majestic Montaña Roja de El Médano, is not only attractive to pet lovers but also to surfers.
This beach does not have any services, so it is important to bring provisions for our ARISTODOGS: travel water bowl, pet food kit, and toys to have fun with your pet.
La Palma
Los Guirres or Playa Nueva

To the west of La Palma and south of the town of Tazacorte, we find Playa Los Guirres, also known as Playa Nueva, the only beach enabled for dogs on the entire island.
It is located between areas of banana plantations, and has good access as well as a good parking area. After the renovation of the viewpoint and promenade area, it is worth visiting to watch the sunsets and enjoy them with our pet. There you will find a good climate and exquisite, as well as unique, gastronomy.
It is an isolated, semi-urban beach, with dark sand or gravel with boulders and moderate waves and winds. The area designated for use as a dog beach is duly signposted at the beach entrance. There are no time restrictions for canine swimming.
Lanzarote
Playa de las Coloradas
To the south of Lanzarote is the dog beach that the Yaiza town hall has designated as a dog-friendly beach. Also known as Playa El Afre, it is a beach composed of sand, boulders, and gravel, approximately 410 meters long, of which 150 meters correspond to the designated area.
Its waters are clean and calm, but it has few necessary services. We recommend bringing a beach kit for your ARISTODOG: a travel water and food bowl, and don't forget to bring bags to collect waste.

Dogs can be in this 165 linear meters area of the beach without time limits, though, of course, under certain rules. Users are warned that there will be fines between 90 and 150 euros for non-compliance.
The rules for enjoying this beach are the same as for the rest of the beaches and coves in the country, but, in case you have any doubts, we list them below.

– Keep your pet under control at all times
– Pick up their waste
– Try not to disturb other users
– Carry your pet's vaccination record and ensure all vaccinations are up to date
– If the dog is included in the list of potentially dangerous dog breeds, it must be leashed and muzzled.
