We ARISTOPETERS always want to offer the best of the best to our pet, but one area we need to pay special attention to is beds. It's very important that your cat rests in the correct bed, that the materials are suitable to offer comfort, and that their rest is of quality. Many ARISTOPARENTS come to us to know which bed is most suitable for their cat, so we're giving you some TIPS to consider to make your decision easier.

Cats sleep much more than we do, up to 16 hours. And although they won't always sleep in their bed (we recently talked about the reasons why your cat likes to sleep with you), it's very important that when they do, the bed meets the quality and comfort requirements so that your feline is as comfortable as possible.
The backs of ARISTOCATS, just like those of humans, need to be cared for, so their bed must protect them. Therefore, a bed with walls is a safe bet. The material must be comfortable, plush, and soft. Don't choose a mattress that is too soft or thin, because then it would be as if your feline were sleeping on the floor.

Some of the things you should consider are:
Size
The size of your ARISTOCAT's bed should be appropriate for your cat. It needs to be large enough for them to fit fully stretched out.
Material
When choosing a bed for your feline, you should remember that the appearance of the bed is not the most important thing, but rather that the material it is made of is suitable. In addition to the characteristics we mentioned earlier, such as being plush, the bed's material should provide good breathability and durability, as well as being able to withstand washing well. Fabrics like plastics or faux leathers are not as hygienic or can be cleaned correctly, so their durability will be less than that of other materials like microfibers or chenille.

Furthermore, if it's resistant to your feline's claws, even better. The better the quality of the materials, the longer it will last.
Shape
Does your cat like to snuggle under blankets? It's very possible then that they would prefer a covered bed, igloo-style, or if not, the best option might be an open bed so they can observe their surroundings without any disturbance. If your cat gets very cold, consider radiator beds, they'll surely go crazy for them. If, on the other hand, your cat has a lot of fur, they'll need a bed that doesn't keep them too warm.

Circular beds or cradle-shaped beds will generally be a good choice, as they perfectly adapt to the feline's curled-up shape, helping them maintain their body heat. In summer, a cushion or a slightly wider bed than usual might be more suitable, so they don't get too hot.
Where you will place it
What's your cat's favorite spot for a good nap? Next to the window, under the sofa, at the foot of your bed… whatever it is, keep it in mind. Cats usually have favorite places to rest, so we advise you to find a bed that fits in their favorite sleeping spot.
We've already talked about radiator beds, but another similar and very attractive option are beds or hammocks to place by the window. Especially in the winter months, your cat will love lying in their bed while enjoying the sunbeams coming through the window.
Bjorn Bed
No one knows your ARISTOCAT as well as you do, so observe them and you will find the right bed based on their needs, always making sure it provides the necessary comfort and well-being. Considering these factors, you are sure to choose the perfect bed.
Ultimately, our ARISTOCAT's rest is very important for their overall well-being, so having an adequate bed is as important for them as it is for us. At ARISTOSHOP you will find a good number of high-quality beds so your feline can enjoy luxurious rest.
