Winter is just around the corner, and we always try to prepare for the freezing weather: moisturizer, wool sweaters, gloves, etc. But sometimes, due to our busy daily lives, we forget about our best friend. As a good ARISTOPETER, we must take precautions, so here are some tips to help our pets face winter without problems.
Paws: Winter can wreak havoc on ARISTODOGS' paws, making them prone to frostbite. If you live in an area where it snows, the salt used to melt it can dry out, irritate, and even cause bleeding on their paw pads. Make sure to clean off the salt and apply a paw pad repair spray to prevent irritation.
Keep your ARISTODOG indoors: Try to keep your dog indoors as much as possible during cold temperatures and rainy days. After all, it's a domesticated animal and not accustomed to harsh climates.
Don't leave him outside for too long: If you are an ARISTOPARENT who likes to go for walks, make sure it's as comfortable as possible for your ARISTODOG. For example, you can buy him a special umbrella so he doesn't get wet on rainy days. If you have a house with a large yard, try to limit the time he spends there.
Maintain a healthy diet: We know this is very important throughout the year, however, you can give him a food supplement to prepare his immune system.
And most importantly, call shelters if you see an animal alone on the street. No ARISTOPETER should be cold and unprotected.
