General advice:
- Your dog should always warm up before starting training.
- Never let your dog train on a full stomach and do not feed him immediately afterwards.
- Adjust this exercise to your dog.
- Let your dog rest during training phases, as this will maintain his interest in this activity.
- Make sure your dog always has fresh water available and let him rest briefly after drinking.
- Keep in mind that dog training should always end with a positive experience.
- Puppies and young dogs should only be trained after consulting a veterinarian to avoid possible injuries.

Important: Praise your dog and offer him a reward during training. This will motivate him and maintain his confidence.

Assembly instructions: Before assembling the obstacle course, define a flat area so that your dog can jump in a straight line. Secure the bar loosely with screws on the posts. Place the posts straight and with an inner distance of approx. 120 cm, so that the obstacle can be used freely. Tighten the screws until the horizontal bar is fixed.

You can start training:
1. Start training with a low setting. This helps prevent your dog from going under the obstacle. Place the fence very low so your dog can jump over it easily.
2. Repeat each training phase several times to ensure that your dog has understood the training phase and can handle it.
3. After the dog has overcome the obstacle, you should praise your dog. Give your dog a small reward from time to time.
4. If you have little experience in dog training and wish to participate in dog competitions during dog training, it would be advisable to join a dog school and sports club. This way you can receive many tips from experienced trainers and avoid mistakes.

The training phase:
You can start the first training phase with a leash or by using a second person:
With a leash: Position yourself with your dog in front of the fence. Now run with your dog and jump the fence with him or run alongside him while your dog jumps alone.
With a second person: The second person and the dog position themselves in front of the fence. The owner stands behind the obstacle and attracts the dog with a toy or food so that the dog runs towards him.

If this works without problems after several attempts, you can perfect the training phase by working without an assistant or without the leash. If your dog learns easily, you can start the second training phase. For this, stand with your dog in front of the fence, point to it and run with your dog towards the obstacle. Use a command like "jump" just before jumping.
Start the third training phase by moving away from the fence. Then run together towards the obstacle. Give the command to jump, while your dog is jumping the obstacle and you are running alongside him. Training can be made more difficult by raising the height of the obstacle and the speed.
