It seems like it was just yesterday that we were eating grapes to celebrate 2018, and without realizing it, we're already in 2019. One more year added to our lives, surely with many lessons learned. A new year and, like every year, a new life, new challenges, projects...
Surely every year, you reflect on the year, make wishes, and set small goals to achieve. Like going to the gym, eating less sweets or junk food, maintaining a diet, buying fewer treats... Normally, these are difficult to keep.
Is any of your 2019 resolutions related to your pet? That is, have you proposed to make new plans or promises with your ARISTOPET? They never complain, but they'll surely appreciate you making new plans with them.
The month of January is the perfect time to introduce small changes into your routine. This will make you more united, because they will always love you.
New Year's Resolutions to make with your pet
1. Maintain a routine
Pets are like children, creatures of habit. When you have an animal, you have to be organized and follow a more or less consistent routine. Whether it's the time you take them out or the time you spend with them.
In the case of dogs, commit to taking them out more or less at the same time and the same number of times each day. The same goes for cats, establishing feeding and playtime schedules.

Schedules should always be maintained as much as possible. This will help your pet to have appropriate behavior in your home.
2. Spend more time together
Pets need attention and care. To that end, commit to spending more time with them. Organize your time in such a way that you dedicate a part of your day to them. Whether it's lying on the couch together, playing...

You could even plan to take your ARISTODOG to the mountains once a week, go to the snow, or to their favorite park... Think about all the things your pet loves that will allow you to be more connected and spend more time together.
3. Take them on a trip
Plan to take a trip with your pet. They also enjoy exploring new places and experiencing new scents. It's a way to spend more time together, and you're sure to have many fun experiences.
4. Exercise more
Both dogs and cats need to exercise. You don't have to take them running, mostly because not all dog breeds can run.
But pets need to move, walk, burn calories... Their body demands it. Plus, it's very good for their metabolism. Take them to the park to play with other dogs, run, or play with a toy.

5. Spend more time with their friends
Dogs usually enjoy the company of other canines. This year, resolve to take them to play with their friends more often. Owners can set a daily meeting time; this helps dogs socialize and, most importantly, release energy. This way, they will sleep better.

6. Take better care of their health and hygiene
Pets are creatures of habit, and once they get used to being given a lot of human food, they then won't want their own. You have to try and maintain order. Even if it pains you, avoid giving them human food. By doing this, you are not being better or worse to your pet; in the end, it's all for their own good.
Regarding improving your pet's hygiene, aim to brush them once a week, depending on their fur. Even, if you can, once a day. Clean their eye boogers with saline solution, bathe them once a month, no more, because it's not good either. It's recommended to wash them between once a month or every month and a half.

7. Quit smoking
Tobacco is harmful to you, but also to those around you. Even to your pet. They are living beings; they breathe the same air as you. In recent years, it has been shown that the chances of passive dogs and cats developing lung cancer are increasing.
8. Collaborate with an animal shelter
Surely your pet lacks nothing. However, there are many animals living in shelters, where the quality of life is low, due to circumstances or the purchasing power of each one.
Many arise without stable financial reimbursement, and there are increasingly more animals, and they cannot be given the quality of life each one deserves.
Commit to collaborating with a shelter, either financially, or simply by donating toys, food... Your help will always be appreciated.
Even, if you can and want to, adopt another pet, whether it's a dog or a cat.
ARISTOPET, a few weeks ago, welcomed Luigi with the goal of finding him a home. If you know anyone, help us find him a home. He is a docile, affectionate dog and is adapted to living with dogs, cats, and children.
These 8 resolutions are not easy to achieve.
