ARISTOPET started 2019 with a goal: to find the home that Luigi, a greyhound from the Amores Peludos association, deserves. A few months ago, we told you that we had already found a home for him, but today we are announcing that he is now with his new family, the family he deserves.
Luigi is an angel with whom we were lucky enough to share many great moments. We met him at the ARISTOPET event, where Lara, a responsible member of the Amores Peludos Association, introduced him to us. From then on, we decided to take him in to find him the home he deserved.
The family he deserves
However, this great moment, where Luigi is now with his new parents Charo and Ángel, has been a long time coming. A few days ago, we contacted Lara to see how Luigi's adoption process was going, and she told us that canine distemper had broken out in the shelter and that Luigi had been admitted to the hospital.
Both Ángel and Charo, as well as Lara and all of us, suffered from Luigi's hospitalization, knowing that a family was waiting for him—or rather, the best family he could have found, was waiting for him. These have been difficult days, but once again, the champion has shown what a great dog he is. Now he is stable and slowly recovering, but with his family, Charo and Ángel.
Now, Luigi gets to enjoy and share a life full of great moments, walks, and runs—how he loves to run—with his family. Together, you will be very happy!
From ARISTOPET, we are happy to have met Luigi and especially to have found him this wonderful family. We are sure that you will enjoy a lot together.
And we admire all people like Lara, who put all their energy into helping these adorable homeless dogs. Although, we know it's very difficult because it's an endless struggle.
Together, we can fight and achieve a world where shelters are not necessary and where respect and love for animals are implicit in our lives.
